JP Hammer Shad, 3.6"

Awesome bait and one of my favorites for northern smallmouth !!

I slam the Reds, Specks and Stripers with the 3.6 Hammer Shad. Pick up a couple bottles of Hog Tonic as well, it works wonders!

If you fish largemouths or smallmouths and like a challenge when fishing then these are not for you.
If you just like to go out and not work to hard at it and catch numbers of nice fish then the Hammer Shad is for you.
I have my clients use these and even the worst fisherman can catch fish on these when dropshotting. I have used these on finesse jigs heads and Carolina rigs and they work great.
They are my go to plastic for more then just bass.

I have had incredible success with this bait drop shotting on a heavily pressured lake here in Socal. I think the heavier profile does a great job of immitating the sculpin that are prevalent in this lake. My only complaint with the bait is it's not incredibly durable. I can sometimes get 2 or 3 fish per bait but often lose the bait on the first fish.

I have found so many uses for this bait its rediculous. Of course it shines in drop shot situations, but have you tried it on a ned rig? You should! It also works amazing as a subtle chatter bait trailer.

I fish these with little to no weight and rig them weedless. The action and slow fall drive the bass nuts!!

First time using the goby and smokin shad on the river and we killed it! 5 nice smallies 2 that were 4 lbers and 2 walleyes!! This is very sick bait for drop shotting,shakey head,texas rig, and a trailer for your favorite jigs! Put one on and hang on! Tight lines :D

I just bought these and have not had a chance to try them out yet . I got them to drop shot with and they look like the will work great !

I planned an outing to fish the outgoing tide from Robert Moses State Park. Upon arrival, we saw several fisherman with poles staked into the surf floating their bait of choice. Not being one to fish bait, I put on a 3oz. Diamond Jig with a JP Hammer Shad (and a touch of Hog Tonic). Already long story made shorter, the four bait fisherman around us expeditiously switched to lures. To his credit, my Uncle, without the help of PTL, caught a nice fluke (and a sea robin). I however, with the key to success that are PowerTeam Lures, caught two blues and another two fish which were both firsts; a Spanish mackerel and a striped bass. If those bait fisherman (or lure converts shall we say) were smarter, they would have asked what I was using. My response: 3.6" JP HAMMER SHAD in Spicy Goby. We are already discussing our next trip during the fall run. I can assure you there will be a bag of JP Hammer Shads with me.
