Single Pack: 12 Ct.
Want to know all about the 3.6" JP Hammer Shad? To keep it simple, we've actually captured a live uncensored conversation between two big fish that'll clear up any of your curiosities about this bait (The identity of these fish are being kept a secret for their own safety). For legal purposes, we'll just refer to them as Fish A and Fish B.
Fish A: "Yo, how you been big girl? Hey, quick question for you…what do you know about this bait they call the 3.6" JP Hammer Shad?"
Fish B: "Shhhhhhh! Keep it down girl! Somebody might hear you! I'll tell you but you have to PROMISE to keep it a secret."
Fish A: "You got my word. But please tell me because the suspense is killing me!"
Fish B: "Okay, but you didn't hear this from me! Word on the street is that this bait is one bad mofo! It's got moves that'll make you salivate like a starved dog staring at a juicy rib roast. I've heard that there's been fish that have literally quit their jobs, left their families, and threw it all away just to go in search for this bait. Pretty messed up right? They say it only takes one mouthful of this thing and you're hooked! I've also heard that even if you try to fight your instincts and stay away from it, the way it moves will put you in a trance - and before you know it, you're being held in the air by some screaming human that is taking pictures of you! It's pretty freaky if you ask me. Just talking about it makes me wanna……"
Fish A: "Holy crap! I literally have chills just thinking about this thing now! I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight! Hey…where are you going? Take me with you!
And just in case you're a little hard headed and don't believe these two fish, take a look at this bait in the video to the left and see for yourself how it can move. You'll then understand what these fish were talking about.
This bait catches basically everything that swims in fresh and salt water. Drop shot it, rig it on a Scrounger Head, bounce it along the bottom on a FCT Head, fish it on the back of a Chatterbait, spinnerbait or buzzbait, fish it on a split shot rig, or fish it weightless. But whatever you do, don't rig it on a drop shot and throw it in a fish’s bed. I said don’t do it!!!

Little bait for a big bite
Small and subtle with the perfect profile to draw huge strikes. Perfect for drop shotting but so deadly as a trailer. Tore them up as a swimjig trailer right before the lakes around me froze up. Can't wait for this tournament season to bust this out.

amazing lure
First time working this lure under a poping cork for speckled trout and ended my day with going up to 25 trout and 5 flounder. Am very pleased with the quality. Will be buying more and using them with my clients.

Best5Zach's Review
I used the hammershad in grass. Doesn't matter if it's matted, scattered, or standing. It absolutely destroys the fish. You can see pictures and vids of my technique here:

Drop Shot - Lights Out
A lot of imitators out there but nothing can compare to the great action of the hammer shad. Pair that action with the variety of awesome colors available and you can literally match the hatch on any lake you are fishing when the drop shot presentation gets the nod.
For me its as simple as using three colors. Gill, Perch Fry and the Dinner Bell. 20' of visibility and a lot of tournament pressure on the glacial lakes up here in the northeast so you have to be spot on when it comes to mimicking the forage. Summertime up here means one thing and its drop-shotting for smallmouth; if you aren't doing it you cannot compete. If you are doing it you better have one of these suspended above your weight because I can tell you first hand I've seen it outfish other baits.
I was on a massive school of perch with the smallmouth lurking below them in 24' of water on an offshore ridge, my co-angler was also dropshotting but was using a green pumpkin minnow type bait. I limited out on my perch fry and kept on catching them until I showed some mercy and handed a few over (man am I nice or what!?) needless to say I think he was a believer afterwards. -
Perfect Drop shot Bait
This has to be the best early season bait i have used for small-mouth bass. So far have bought about 5 lbs of these and handed some out to everyone who wanted to try them with everyone telling me that they have had the same success

Drop Shot Look Out
It's been a little white since I've needed to fish the lighter line and the drop shot but that has to be my favourite way to fish the Swinging Hammer. Nose hook it with a 1/0 Lazar Sharp Eagle Claw hook or texas rig it on a Owner Twistlock Finesse 1/0 light wire hook and take your time. Using slow hopes and drags with the drop shot allows that tail to kick and increases the action. Great for bed fishing or when prowling the deep. Great shape and profile the smallies love it especially on Chautauqua Lake in NewYork.

If for any reason you're not happy with anything you buy from us, return it within 30 days for a prompt exchange or refund.
