big bream can't resist em either. bass love em, but I was surprised that nice sized bream will hit em too. the kits are the way to go. great way to see which colors work for u.

This tube kit is awesome. It has the perfect tube heads for the tubes. Also the perfect scent in 12 Hog Tonic capsules. There are 6 trays with your choice of tube colors. Which comes in a plano box ready to go. Now you don't have to fumble through your tackle for that tube. These tube are at your reach at all times in the box. The best part is the price. It won't break your wallet either.

I have had great luck catching bass at the docks with these tubes. They cast great and land so sutal and then BAM ther's a bass at the end. Go get some.

Let's start with the tubes... Great size/profile for smallmouth, action is very realistic in the water using either the included heads, or hopping them along the bottom on a shaky football head. Pincher end of the lure really stands up in that crayfish defensive position daring smallies to bite. Color selection is awesome. I loaded my kit with several of my two primary colors, but the available options cover a very wide variety of conditions and applications.

Tube heads... hooks are sharp, heads are smooth, bend is very strong. Seems like a very stout hook capable of handling a lot of stress.

Hog Tonic... This might be my only minor complaint. I'm not a huge fan of the capsules in this kit. I'd rather see a small spray bottle. If you buy an individual bag, it makes sense to dump the capsule in the bag and let the tubes season. In the context of the kit, it seems like you would just end up with hog tonic all over yourself at some point (which I guess may or may not be a bad thing if you like garlic).

Bottom line... This is a great kit at a very nice price point. I can't say enough good things about the PTL company either. One of my colors was backordered, and instead of leaving out those dozen tubes, or delaying my shipment, they threw in another color to try, and are sending me the back ordered color ASAP. Doing that without me having to ask or complain is the sign of a great company. I will definitely be back to do more business in the future.

The smell of that Hog Tonic Kills!!!! Bass go crazy when this 3.5 Food Chain Tube falls in there face... Getting multiply color choices in this kit has been a god sent!!! I recommend this bait to all fisherman who want to catch the bass of a lifetime!!!
