JP Hammer Custom Shad Drop Shot Kit

I have used these lures in North Carolina for Red Drum and Flounder and had amazing luck, specially during the winter time under a lite jig head. The tail seems to be the biggest thing that attracts the Reds in the winter. Now that I have moved back up north to Pennsylvania I am super excited to work these lures on some freahwater. I know that if they work on Red Drum they are going to work on Bass.

I never used a drop shot in the river,but what the hell it was a slow day.My first two cast resulted in 2 fish with the jp hammer.Now i have another PTL smallie killer.

Tried these out on the farm pond and they were awesome, caught a lot of nicer bass using these compared to regular drop shot worms. Looking forward to using these in a upcoming tournament in a few weeks.

You can't go wrong with this kit! Everything in it is quality...the hooks, lead, Plano box...and of course the hammer shads. The wide gap lazar sharps are perfect match for this bait. The color options are exactly what I am looking for; obviously developed by fellow bas fanatics who spend plenty of time on the water...Tasty Tilapia is my personal favorite. Besides drop-shot, I've found that many other options also work well for this bait. All that really matters is that the hog smallmouths love these things!

I will throw out this caveat, I have only fished with these once so far. However, this kit was great. The lures are flexible to give a lot of action in the water but strong enough to hold up to the rigors of the river. Love the color options. Also the Hog Tonic is amazing and has the added perk to take over the smell of the fish you are catching and make you smell like you just ate at a high end Pizza joint! Will absolutely be ordering more in the future!

There is nothing compare to this lure kit, everything i needed all in one box. JP hammer shad moves and looks so life like under water. All the hardware i needed without going to look some place else. top of the line stuff right here people.. if your looking to drop shot for the first time or weekend fishing trip. I ordered these baits to see what all the hype was about. I am one of the Heroes on the Water Coordinators and PTL is a BIG supporter for all of the Chapters across the country, and WE ALL TRULY APPRECIATE IT!

These lures are truly awesome. Like the title says, I had NEVER tried drop shot-ing before, and basically learned what I needed to do from the video. The first time out I used them in a local pond and the bass were going crazy for them... and I haven't even used the Hog Tonic sauce yet. If you have never tried these, I would highly recommend you add them to your arsenal for Bass Fishing!
